PROJECT 1: Building Plans & Firefighting Plans
In groups of 5, your task is to complete the following:
Full set A1 drawings, including (but not restricted to):
a. Site Plan, Key Plan and Location Plan
b. Full set of Building Plans including Roof Plan, Sections and Elevations
c. Fire-fighting (BOMBA) Plans (separate from the Building Plans, item ‘b’)
d. Schedules: Door & Window and Natural Light & Natural Ventilation

PROJECT 2: Construction/ Technical Drawings
In tandem with the main project of Architecture Design Project Studio 6, students are to demonstrate
knowledge of construction, technology, materials and building services, as well as UBBL and fire safety
regulations in developing their architectural design project technically.
Students must take into account the functionality of spatial requirement in relation to by-laws and
regulations, ergonomics, environmental concerns and other issues to ensure a good, healthy, safe and
comfortable living environment for all users.
Submission format: Full set A1 drawings, including (but not restricted to):
a. One (1) Building Section cutting though a significant (design) part of the building.
b. One (1) Full Height Wall Section taken from the Building Section (a) above, with detail call-out.
c. Two (2) Blow-up Details featuring a major joint (wall/floor, roof/wall, etc.), taken from the Full Height
Wall Section, item (b) above
d. Feature Staircase Detail.
