Reflection

I have always love the History subject as it tells me about the past and what we have become today in this information age, Egypt Period is one of the earliest Civilization on earth. It is before the Roman and Greek Period, which makes it more ancient and dated. Their Pyramids and Temples are built specifically to represent their architecture, the first use of collonades and steps building. I also learn that their pyramids and temples are built to serve a purpose, that their god is the pharoah and the guardians protects the sacred places. These are interesting historical studies, how the Renaissance and Baroque Period shape the world of Architecture.

PROJECT: PRECEDENT STUDY
This project focuses on investigating historical works to enrich architectural design and ideas. Through the study of existing buildings, students are able to inform and expand their own architectural vocabulary and develop design concepts. In a group of 4, students are required to conduct analysis on specific building through drawing, model-making, written and verbal presentations. My group of 4 is assigned the Temple of Hatshepsut which is the Egyptian Architecture Period in Egypt.
